O gods, sentient beings in the world mostly create things, then grasp onto those creations, and then give rise to the notions of “I” and “mine,” namely: Form is myself, is mine; feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are myself, are mine. The eye-base is myself, is mine; the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind bases are myself, are mine. The form-base is myself, is mine; the sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma bases are myself, are mine. The eye-element is myself, is mine; the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind elements are myself, are mine. The form-element is myself, is mine; the sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma elements are myself, are mine. The eye-consciousness element is myself, is mine; the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-consciousness elements are myself, are mine. Eye-contact is myself, is mine; ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind contact are myself, are mine. The feelings arising conditioned by eye-contact are myself, are mine; the feelings arising conditioned by ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind contact are myself, are mine. The earth element is myself, is mine; the water, fire, wind, space, and consciousness elements are myself, are mine. Ignorance is myself, is mine; formations, consciousness, name-and-form, the six sense bases, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, aging-and-death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, grief, and distress are myself, are mine.
The perfection of giving is myself, is mine; the perfection of pure morality is myself, is mine; the perfection of patience is myself, is mine; the perfection of diligence is myself, is mine; the perfection of meditative absorption is myself, is mine; the perfection of wisdom is myself, is mine. The emptiness of the internal is myself, is mine; the emptiness of the external, the emptiness of both internal and external, the emptiness of emptiness, the great emptiness, the emptiness of ultimate meaning, the emptiness of conditioned phenomena, the emptiness of unconditioned phenomena, the emptiness of the ultimate, the emptiness without boundaries, the emptiness of dispersion, the emptiness of non-change, the emptiness of inherent nature, the emptiness of own characteristics, the emptiness of common characteristics, the emptiness in all phenomena, the emptiness of what cannot be grasped, the emptiness of no nature, the emptiness of self-nature, and the emptiness of the self-nature of emptiness are myself, are mine.
Suchness is myself, is mine; the dharma realm, dharma-nature, the nature of non-falsity, the nature of non-change, the nature of equality, the nature of freedom from arising, the fixed nature of phenomena, the abiding nature of phenomena, ultimate reality, the realm of space, and the inconceivable realm are myself, are mine. The four foundations of mindfulness are myself, are mine; the four right efforts, the four bases of miraculous powers, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven factors of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path are myself, are mine. The noble truth of suffering is myself, is mine; the noble truths of origin, cessation, and path are myself, are mine. The four meditative absorptions are myself, are mine; the four immeasurables are myself, are mine; the four formless absorptions are myself, are mine. The eight liberations are myself, are mine; the eight bases of mastery are myself, are mine; the nine successive concentrations are myself, are mine; the ten totalities are myself, are mine. The liberation door of emptiness is myself, is mine; the liberation doors of signlessness and wishlessness are myself, are mine. The five kinds of eyes are myself, are mine; the six supernatural powers are myself, are mine. The samādhi teachings are myself, are mine; the dhāraṇī teachings are myself, are mine. The ten powers of the Buddha are myself, are mine; the four fearlessnesses, the four unobstructed knowledges, great loving-kindness, great compassion, great joy, great equanimity, and the eighteen unique qualities of a Buddha are myself, are mine. The fruit of stream-entry is myself, is mine; the fruits of once-returning, non-returning, and arhatship are myself, are mine. The state of the solitary Buddha is myself, is mine. All-knowing wisdom is myself, is mine; path-aspect wisdom and all-aspect wisdom are myself, are mine.

O sons of the gods, if a Bodhisattva practices in order to apprehend the liberation door of Emptiness, and practices in order to abandon the liberation door of Emptiness; if he practices in order to apprehend the liberation doors of Signlessness and Wishlessness, and practices in order to abandon the liberation doors of Signlessness and Wishlessness, then that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the Prajñāpāramitā, nor can he cultivate the Perfection of Meditative Concentration, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Pure Discipline, or the Perfection of Giving; that Bodhisattva cannot realize emptiness of the inner, nor can he realize emptiness of the outer, emptiness of both inner and outer, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, emptiness of ultimate meaning, emptiness of conditioned phenomena, emptiness of unconditioned phenomena, ultimate emptiness, emptiness without boundaries, dispersed emptiness, emptiness of non-alteration, emptiness of inherent nature, emptiness of own characteristics, emptiness of common characteristics, emptiness in all phenomena, emptiness that cannot be grasped, emptiness of absence of nature, emptiness of self-nature, or emptiness of the self-nature of emptiness; that Bodhisattva cannot realize suchness, nor can he realize the Dharma realm, Dharma nature, the nature of non-delusion, the nature of non-change, the nature of equality, the nature of non-arising, the determinate Dharma, abiding in Dharma, ultimate reality, the realm of space, or the inconceivable realm; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the four foundations of mindfulness, nor can he cultivate the four right efforts, the four bases of miraculous powers, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven factors of enlightenment, or the eightfold noble path; that Bodhisattva cannot realize the Noble Truth of Suffering, nor can he realize the Noble Truths of Origination, Cessation, and Path; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the four meditative absorptions, nor can he cultivate the four immeasurables or the four formless concentrations; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the eight liberations, nor can he cultivate the eight spheres of mastery, the nine successive concentrations, or the ten universal bases; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the liberation door of Emptiness, nor can he cultivate the liberation doors of Signlessness and Wishlessness; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the five kinds of eyes, nor can he cultivate the six supernormal powers; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the samādhi Dharma doors, nor can he cultivate the dhāraṇī Dharma doors; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate the ten powers of the Buddha, nor can he cultivate the four fearlessnesses, the four unobstructed knowledges, great Loving-kindness, great Compassion, great Joy, great Equanimity, or the eighteen unshared Buddha qualities; that Bodhisattva cannot cultivate all-knowing wisdom, nor can he cultivate path-knowing wisdom or all-aspects-knowing wisdom.
