Chapter 35: PRAISING PURITY. (2).

Śāriputra, because the Perfection of Generosity is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, Perfection of Wisdom ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because internal emptiness is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because external emptiness, emptiness of both internal and external, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, emptiness of conditioned phenomena, emptiness of unconditioned phenomena, emptiness of finality, limitless emptiness, emptiness of dispersion, unchanging emptiness, emptiness of original nature, emptiness of individual characteristics, emptiness of shared characteristics, emptiness of all phenomena, emptiness of non-apprehensibility, emptiness of non-nature, emptiness of self-nature, emptiness of non-nature-self-nature ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because of ultimate truth suchness pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because dharma-realm, dharma-nature, nature of non-falsity, nature of non-alteration, nature of equality, nature dissociated from birth, dharma-fixity, dharma-abiding, reality-limit, realm of space, inconceivable realm ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because the Noble Truth of Suffering is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because Noble Truths of Arising, Cessation, and the ultimate Path pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Hey Śāriputra, because the four ultimate Meditative Concentrations are pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because the eight Ultimate Liberations pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; Because eight Bases of Mastery, nine Sequential Concentrations, ten ultimate Totalities pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Hey Śāriputra, because the four Mindfulness abide in the ultimate pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because four Right Efforts, four Bases of Supernatural Power, five Spiritual Faculties, five Powers, seven Factors of Enlightenment, eight-fold Noble Path ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not manifest.

Hey Śāriputra, because Liberation Gateway of Emptiness is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, ultimate Wishlessness pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because the ten ultimate Bodhisattva realms are pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Hey Śāriputra, because the Five Eyes are ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; Because six Supernormal Powers are ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Hey Śāriputra, because the ten Powers of the Buddha are ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because four Fearlessnesses, four Analytical Knowledges, great Loving-kindness, great Compassion, great Sympathetic Joy, great Equanimity, eighteen unique Buddha qualities are ultimately pure should say pure those not arising, not manifesting.

Śāriputra, because the dharma of non-forgetfulness is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because the nature of ever-present ultimate equanimity pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because the Knowledge of All is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; because Knowledge of Path-Aspects, Knowledge of All-Aspects ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because all Dharani gateways are ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear; Because all Samadhi gateways are ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because attainment Stream-enterer ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not manifest; because attainment Once-returner, Non-returner, Arahant ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Śāriputra, because Pratyekabuddha attainment is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not manifest.

Śāriputra, because all Great Bodhisattva practices are ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

Hey Śāriputra, because the supreme fruit of Enlightenment of all Buddhas is ultimately pure should say pure those do not arise, do not appear.

At that time, Śāriputra also told the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, pure as such is not born in the realm of Desire.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why pure as such does not give birth to the realm of Desire?

The Buddha said: Because the inherent nature of the Desire realm cannot be able to apprehended so pure as such does not give birth to the Desire realm.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, pure as such is not born in the realm of Form.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why pure as such not born in the realm of Form?

The Buddha said: Because the inherent nature of the Rupa realm cannot apprehended should be pure as such does not give birth to the Rupa realm.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, pure as such is not born in the Formless realm.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why pure as such does not give birth to the Formless realm?

The Buddha said: Because the inherent nature of the Formless realm cannot apprehended should be pure as such not giving birth to the Formless realm.

At that time, Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, pure as such, nature is inanimate.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why pure as such, nature is inanimate?

The Buddha said: Because all dharma, nature is inherently hidden, should be pure as such, nature is inanimate.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of form is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of form inanimate or pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of form is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of feeling, perception, formations, consciousness is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of feeling, perception, formations, consciousness pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of feeling, perception, formations, consciousness is inanimate, i.e. pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of eye-base is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of eye-base pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of eye-base is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not so the nature of ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of form-base is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of form-base pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of form-base is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the essence of sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not so the nature of sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of eye-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of eye-element pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of eye-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of form-element, eye-consciousness-element and eye-contact together with the feelings arising from eye-contact as conditions is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of form world through to the life due to eye-contact causes arising as conditions is inanimate i.e. pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of the form realm through to the feeling due to eye-contact causes arising as conditions is inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of ear-element is inanimate that is pure. pure?

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of ear-element is inanimate that is sound The Buddha said:

Because the self-appearance is not, the nature of the ear-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of sound-element, ear-consciousness-element and ear-contact together with the feelings arising from ear-contact as conditions is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of sound-element through to the feelings arising from ear-contact as conditions is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of sound-element through to the feelings arising from ear-contact as conditions are inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of nose-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of nose-element pure?

The Buddha said: Because the self-appearance is not, the nature of the nose-element is inanimate, that is, pure

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of scent-element, nose-consciousness-element and nose-contact together with the feelings arising from nose-contact as conditions is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of scent-element through to the feelings arising from nose-contact as conditions is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of scent-element through to the feelings arising from nose-contact as conditions are inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of tongue-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of tongue-element pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of tongue-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of taste-element, tongue-consciousness-element and tongue-contact together with the feelings arising from tongue-contact as conditions is inanimate that is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of taste-element through to the feelings arising from tongue-contact as conditions is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of taste-element through to the feelings arising from tongue-contact as conditions are inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of eye-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of body-element pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of body-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of tangible-element, body-consciousness-element and body-contact together with the feelings arising from body-contact as conditions is inanimate that is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of tangible-element through to the feelings arising from body-contact as conditions is inanimate that is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-form is not the nature of tangible-element through to the feelings arising from body-contact as conditions are inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of mind-element is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of mind-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of dharma-element, mind-consciousness-element and mind-contact together with the feelings arising from mind-contact as conditions is inanimate that is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of dharma-element through to the feelings arising from mind-contact as conditions is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of dharma-element through to the feelings arising from mind-contact as conditions are inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of earth-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is it ultimately pure?

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of earth-element is inanimate i.e. sound.

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of earth-element is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of water, fire, wind, space, and consciousness-elements is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of water, fire, wind, space, and consciousness-elements pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of water, fire, wind, space, and consciousness-elements is inanimate, i.e. pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of ignorance is pure. The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure. Śāriputra told the Buddha:

“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of ignorance pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not so the nature of ignorance is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of formations, consciousness, name-and-form, six sense bases, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, aging-and-death, sorrow-lamentation-suffering-dejection-distress is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of formations through to aging-and-death, sorrow-lamentation-suffering-dejection-distress is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of formations through to aging-and-death, sorrow-lamentation-suffering-dejection-distress is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of Perfection of Generosity is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Perfection of Generosity pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of Perfection of Generosity is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, Perfection of Wisdom is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Pure Precepts through to Perfection of Wisdom pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of Pure Precepts through to Perfection of Wisdom is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of internal emptiness is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of internal emptiness pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of internal emptiness is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of external emptiness, emptiness of both internal and external, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, emptiness of conditioned phenomena, emptiness of unconditioned phenomena, emptiness of finality, limitless emptiness, emptiness of dispersion, unchanging emptiness, emptiness of original nature, emptiness of individual characteristics, emptiness of shared characteristics, emptiness of all phenomena, emptiness of non-apprehensibility, emptiness of non-nature, emptiness of self-nature, emptiness of non-nature-self-nature is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of external emptiness through to emptiness of non-nature-self-nature pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of external emptiness through to emptiness of non-nature-self-nature is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of true suchness is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of true suchness pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of truth suchness is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of dharma-realm, dharma-nature, nature of non-falsity, nature of non-alteration, nature of equality, nature dissociated from birth, dharma-fixity, dharma-abiding, reality-limit, realm of space, inconceivable realm is inanimate or pure.

In the same way is ultimately pure. Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of dharma-realm through to the inconceivable realm pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not so the nature of dharma-realm through to the inconceivable realm is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of Noble Truth of Suffering is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Noble Truth of Suffering pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not so the nature of Noble Truth of Suffering is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of Noble Truths of Arising, Cessation, and the Path is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Noble Truths of Arising, Cessation, and the Path pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of Noble Truths of Arising, Cessation, and the Path is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of the four Meditative Concentrations is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of the four Meditative Concentrations inanimate or pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of the four Meditative Concentrations is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of eight Liberations is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of eight Liberations pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of eight Liberations is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of eight Bases of Mastery, nine Sequential Concentrations, ten Totalities is inanimate or pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of eight Bases of Mastery, nine Sequential Concentrations, ten Totalities is inanimate that is pure? ? Because self-appearance is not so the nature of eight Bases of Mastery, nine Sequential Concentrations, ten Totalities is inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of the four Mindfulness abides in is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why the nature of the four Mindfulness that abides in is pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not so the nature of the four Mindfulness abides in is inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of four Right Efforts, four Bases of Supernatural Power, five Spiritual Faculties, five Powers, seven Factors of Enlightenment, eight-fold Noble Path is inanimate or pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of four Right Efforts through to eight-fold Noble Path pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of four Right Efforts through to eight-fold Noble Path is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of Liberation Gateway of Emptiness is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Liberation Gateway of Emptiness pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of Liberation Gateway of Emptiness is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, Wishlessness is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, Wishlessness pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, Wishlessness is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of the ten Bodhisattva realms is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of the ten Bodhisattva realms pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of the ten Bodhisattva grounds is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of five Eyes is inanimate, that is, pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of five Eyes pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of the five Eyes is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of the six Supernormal Powers is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of six Supernormal Powers pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of the six Supernormal Powers is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of the Powers of the Buddha is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature in ten Powers of the Buddha inanimate or pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not nature in ten Powers of the Buddha is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of four Fearlessnesses, four Analytical Knowledges, great Loving-kindness, great Compassion, great Sympathetic Joy, great Equanimity, eighteen unique Buddha qualities is pure.

The Buddha said: Because self form is not should nature of four Fearlessnesses through to eighteen unique Buddha qualities is inanimate that is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of the dharma of non-forgetfulness is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of dharma of non-forgetfulness pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of dharma of non-forgetfulness is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of ever-present equanimity is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of ever-present equanimity pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of ever-present equanimity is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of Knowledge of All is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Knowledge of All pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of Knowledge of All is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of Knowledge of Path-Aspects, Knowledge of All-Aspects is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Knowledge of Path-Aspects, Knowledge of All-Aspects pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of Knowledge of Path-Aspects, Knowledge of All-Aspects is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of all Dharani gateways is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of all Dharani gateways pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of all Dharani gateways is inanimate, i.e. pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of all Samadhi gateways is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of all Samadhi gateways pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of all Samadhi gateways is inanimate, i.e. pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of attainment Stream-enterer is pure. The Buddha said: The Buddha said:

In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of attainment Stream-enterer pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of attainment Stream-enterer is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, nature of attainment Once-returner, Non-returner, Arahant is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of attainment Once-returner, Non-returner, Arahant pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not the nature of attainment Once-returner, Non-returner, Arahant is inanimate, i.e. pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of Pratyekabuddha attainment is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of Pratyekabuddha attainment pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of Pratyekabuddha attainment is pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of all Great Bodhisattva practice is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of all Great Bodhisattva practices pure? ?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not, the nature of all Great Bodhisattva practice is inanimate, that is, pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the nature of supreme fruit of Enlightenment of all Buddhas is pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why is the nature of supreme fruit of Enlightenment of all Buddhas pure?

The Buddha said: Because self-appearance is not so the nature of supreme fruit of Enlightenment of all Buddhas is inanimate, that is, pure.

At that time, Śāriputra also told the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, Perfection of Wisdom with regard to the wisdom of Omniscient Knowledge is neither beneficial nor harmful.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why Perfection of Wisdom with regard to the wisdom of Omniscient Knowledge is not beneficial, not harmful?

The Buddha said: Hey Śāriputra, because dharma-realm permanently resides, Perfection of Wisdom with regard to the wisdom of Omniscient Knowledge is not beneficial, not harmful.

At that time, Śāriputra also told the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, Perfection of Wisdom is inherently pure, therefore with regard to all the dharma not accepted.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, at ease why Perfection of Wisdom pure, with regard to all the dharma not accepted?

The Buddha said: Hey Śāriputra, because dharma-realm is immovable, Perfection of Wisdom pure with regard to all the dharma is not accepted.

At that time, he received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should form pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should form pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should form not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should feeling, perception, formations, consciousness pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should feeling, perception, formations, consciousness pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should feeling, perception, formations, consciousness not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should eye-base pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should eye-base pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should eye-base not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases not possess, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should form-base pure. The Buddha said: The Buddha said:

In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should form-base pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should form-base not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to what and says because self pure should sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases pure, is ultimately pure.

Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should eye-element pure. The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should eye-element pure, is ultimately pure.

Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should eye-element not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should form-element, eye-consciousness-element and eye-contact together with the feelings arising from eye-contact as conditions pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, due to what and says because self pure should form world through to the life due to eye-contact causes arise as conditions pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should form world through to the feeling due to eye-contact causes arising as conditions not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should ear-element pure. The Buddha said: The Buddha said:

Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should ear-element not possession, there is ultimate pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should sound-element, ear-consciousness-element and ear-contact together with the feelings arising from ear-contact as conditions pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should sound-element through to the feelings arising from ear-contact as conditions pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should sound-element through to the feelings arising from ear-contact as conditions not possession, there is ultimately pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should formations, consciousness, name-and-form, six sense bases, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, aging-and-death, sorrow-lamentation-suffering-dejection-distress pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should form through to aging-and-death, sorrow-lamentation-suffering-dejection-distress pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should form through to aging-and-death, sorrow-lamentation-suffering-dejection-distress not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should Perfection of Generosity pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should Perfection of Generosity pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should Perfection of Generosity not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, Perfection of Wisdom pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should Pure Precepts through to Perfection of Wisdom pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should Pure Precepts through to Perfection of Wisdom not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should internal emptiness pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should internally emptiness pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should internal emptiness not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should external emptiness, emptiness of both internal and external, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, emptiness of conditioned phenomena, emptiness of unconditioned phenomena, emptiness of finality, limitless emptiness, emptiness of dispersion, unchanging emptiness, emptiness of original nature, emptiness of individual characteristics, emptiness of shared characteristics, emptiness of all phenomena, emptiness of non-apprehensibility, emptiness of non-nature, emptiness of self-nature, emptiness of non-nature-self-nature pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should external emptiness through to emptiness of non-nature-self-nature pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should external emptiness through to emptiness of non-nature-self-nature not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should true suchness pure. The Buddha said: The Buddha said:

In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should be true suchness pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should be true Suchness not possession, there is ultimately pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should dharma-realm, dharma-nature, nature of non-falsity, nature of non-alteration, nature of equality, nature dissociated from birth, dharma-fixity, dharma-abiding, reality-limit, realm of space, inconceivable realm pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to what and says because self pure should dharma-realm through to the inconceivable realm pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should dharma-realm through to the inconceivable realm not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should Noble Truth of Suffering pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should Noble Truth of Suffering pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should Noble Truth of Suffering not possession, there is ultimately pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should Noble Truths of Arising, Cessation, and the Path pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations not possession, there is ultimate pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should eight Liberations pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should eight Liberations pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should be eight Liberations not possession, there is ultimate pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should eight Bases of Mastery, nine Sequential Concentrations, ten Totalities pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should four Mindfulness abide in pure. The Buddha said: The Buddha said:

“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should abide in pure, is ultimately pure.

This Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should four Mindfulness abide in not possession, there is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should four Right Efforts, four Bases of Supernatural Power, five Spiritual Faculties, five Powers, seven Factors of Enlightenment, eight-fold Noble Path pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should four Right Efforts through to eight-fold Noble Path pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should four Right Efforts through to eight-fold Noble Path not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should Liberation Gateway of Emptiness pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should Liberation Gateway of Emptiness pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should Liberation Gateway of Emptiness not possession, there is ultimate pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because self pure should Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, Wishlessness pure.

The Buddha said: In the same way is ultimately pure.

“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, Wishlessness pure, is ultimately pure.

He received Good Manifestation Devas and said to the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, due to nothing and says because self pure should ten Bodhisattva pure, is ultimately pure.

The Buddha said: Hey Good Manifestation Devas, because not possession should ten Bodhisattva grounds not possess, there is ultimate pure.
