Chapter 31: JOYFUL DEDICATION (5)
At that time, he received Thien Hien and told the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, as World-Honored One has said, rejoices dedicate towards those good men and women who, are supreme, are noble, are wonderful, are sublime, are nothing above, nothing with, nothing more. “Venerable World-Honored One, because why He says rejoice dedicate towards those is supreme, is noble, is marvelous, is sublime, is nothing above, nothing with, nothing surpassing The Buddha said:
Hey Thien Hien, good men and women those with regard to throughout the wholesome roots of all Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattva and all other sentient beings in the past, future, present in the ten directions the world, do not hold, does not abandon, not arrogant, not disdain, is not capable of attaining, is not not capable of attaining; Also know that dharma is not born, not destroyed, not infected, not pure, not increasing, not decreasing, not going, not coming, not gathering, not dispersing, not entering, not going out, think like this: As the dharma true suchness, dharma-realm, dharma-nature, nature of non-falsity, nature of non-alteration, nature of equality, nature dissociated from birth, dharma-fixity, dharma-abiding, reality-limit, realm of space, inconceivable realm in past, future, present that, we also joyfully dedicate towards such. Hey Thien Hien, equivalent to arising joyful dedication towards of Great Bodhisattva then we say is supreme, is noble, is wonderful, is sublime, is nothing above, nothing with, nothing more. Hey Thien Hien, rejoice dedicate towards as such is surpassing the rejoice dedicate towards other a hundred times, a thousand times, hundreds of thousands of times, a dozen times, a hundred a thousand times, a thousand a thousand times, a hundred of a thousand times, a numberless hundreds of a thousand times far more than; including all all multiplication regarding quantity, regarding calculation, regarding example, through to extreme numbers. Therefore should we say arise joyful dedication towards as such is supreme, is noble, is marvelous, is sublime, is nothing above, nothing with, nothing more.
Moreover Thien Hien, residing in Bodhisattva, the good men and women, with regard to all wholesome roots in accord with Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom of all all the Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One in the past, future, present in the ten directions the world, has obtained within about that, from newly raised the aspiration through to attain supreme fruit of Enlightenment, the mysterious transformation of dharma, after entering Nirvana without remainder, until the time of dharma’s destruction; or aggregate of virtue, aggregate of concentration, aggregate of wisdom, aggregate of liberation, aggregate of liberated knowledge and vision of all the Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One and other immeasurable, boundless dharma Buddhas; or wholesome roots merit and virtue of those of the Shravaka level, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattva; or the three karmic merits of giving, precepts, cultivating and the good dharma of the other sentient beings, obtain gathering, pondering, contemplating, arise right away mind rejoice dedicate towards not crazy. Should think thus: like liberation form also thus; such as liberating feeling, perception, formations, consciousness also thus; like liberating eye-base also thus; such as liberating ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases also thus; like freeing form-base also thus; sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases also thus; like liberating eye-element also thus; like releasing form-element, eye-consciousness-element and eye-contact together with the feelings arising from eye-contact as conditions also thus; like liberating ear-element also thus; sound-element, ear-consciousness-element and ear-contact together with the feelings arising from ear-contact as conditions also thus; like liberating nose-element also thus; scent-element, nose-consciousness-element and nose-contact together with the feelings arising from nose-contact as conditions also thus; like liberating tongue-element also thus; taste-element, tongue-consciousness-element and tongue-contact together with the feelings arising from tongue-contact as conditions also thus; like liberating body-element also thus; tangible-element, body-consciousness-element and body-contact together with the feelings arising from body-contact as conditions also thus; like liberating mind-element also thus; like liberating dharma-element, mind-consciousness-element and mind-contact together with the feelings arising from mind-contact as conditions also thus; like liberating earth-element also thus; like liberating water, fire, wind, space, and consciousness-elements also thus; ignorance also thus; like liberation formations, consciousness, name-and-form, six sense bases, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, aging-and-death, sorrow-lamentation-suffering-dejection-distress also thus; Perfection of Generosity also thus; such as liberation Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, Perfection of Wisdom also thus; internal emptiness also thus; such as external emptiness, emptiness of both internal and external, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, emptiness of conditioned phenomena, emptiness of unconditioned phenomena, emptiness of finality, limitless emptiness, emptiness of dispersion, unchanging emptiness, emptiness of original nature, emptiness of individual characteristics, emptiness of shared characteristics, emptiness of all phenomena, emptiness of non-apprehensibility, emptiness of non-nature, emptiness of self-nature, emptiness of non-nature-self-nature also thus; true liberation suchness also thus; like liberation dharma-realm, dharma-nature, nature of non-falsity, nature of non-alteration, nature of equality, nature dissociated from birth, dharma-fixity, dharma-abiding, reality-limit, realm of space, inconceivable realm also thus; Noble Truth of Suffering also thus; Noble Truths of Arising, Cessation, and the Path are also thus; as liberating the four Meditative Concentration also thus; four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations also thus; eight Liberations also thus; like liberation eight Bases of Mastery, nine Sequential Concentrations, ten Totalities also thus; as the liberation of the four Recitations abides in also thus; such as liberation four Right Efforts, four Bases of Supernatural Power, five Spiritual Faculties, five Powers, seven Factors of Enlightenment, eight-fold Noble Path also thus; Liberation Gateway of Emptiness also thus; as liberation Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, Wishlessness also thus; five Eyes also thus; like liberating six Supernormal Powers also thus; ten Powers of the Buddha also thus; four Fearlessnesses, four Analytical Knowledges, great Loving-kindness, great Compassion, great Sympathetic Joy, great Equanimity, eighteen unique Buddha qualities also thus; like liberation dharma of non-forgetfulness also thus; like liberation nature of ever-present equanimity also thus; like liberation Knowledge of All also thus; like liberation Knowledge of Path-Aspects, Knowledge of All-Aspects also thus; like liberation all Dharani gateways also thus; like liberation all Samadhi gateways also thus; aggregate of virtue also thus; like liberated concentration, wisdom, liberation, aggregate of liberated knowledge and vision also thus; like liberating all dharma in past, future, present also thus; like liberating all Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One in past, future, present in the ten directions the world also thus; like liberating all Bodhi, Nirvana of Buddha also thus; like numberless liberation, boundless Buddha dharma also thus; like liberating all Buddha disciples also thus; like liberating all dharma of Buddha’s disciples also thus; like liberation all Pratyekabuddhas also thus; like liberation all the roots mature of Pratyekabuddhas also thus; like liberating all the Prajnaparamita of Pratyekabuddhas also thus; like liberation all the dharma of Pratyekabuddhas also thus; as liberating all dharma-nature of Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One and disciples Pratyekabuddhas of Buddha also thus; like liberation all dharma-nature also thus; like liberation all rejoice dedicate toward also thus. As the dharma-nature, not tied, not open, not infected, not pure, not started, not ceased, not born, not destroyed, not kept, not abandoned, I with regard to wholesome roots of merit and virtue as such start immediately rejoicing in dedication to the supreme fruit of Enlightenment. Because rejoice thus is not the subject be able to rejoice, not the subject rejoice. Because dedicate toward as such is not subject be able to dedicate toward, not must be object dedicate toward. Because they have already begun to rejoice and dedicate towards such, therefore is not transformed, is not ceased, is not born, is not destroyed.
Hey Thien Hien, joyful dedication towards of Great Bodhisattva those are supreme, are noble, are wonderful, are sublime, are nothing above, nothing with, nothing more.
Hey Thien Hien, if Great Bodhisattva accomplishment rejoice dedicate towards as such then quickly attain supreme fruit of Enlightenment.
Moreover Thien Hien, if good men and women earnestly turn toward Mahayana, suppose is capable of with regard to all all the Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One and the assembly of disciples in numberless the world present in the ten directions, using characteristics as a means, using oriented toward attainment as a means, throughout life reverently make offerings, respect and praise; also give the kinds of clothing, food, bedding, medicine, and the kinds of living items and the kinds of supremely wonderful other fun and supplies. Venerable Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One and the assembly of disciples that, after entering Nirvana, gathered relics, used seven kinds of treasures to build the tower extensively, day and night diligently, respectfully bowing in reverence, circumambulating to the right; also using the kinds of flower garlands, ointments, clothing, necklaces, pearls, jeweled canopies, the kinds of precious gems, musical instruments, or stage lamps, all the available objects, reverently make offerings, respect and praise; also using characteristics as a means, using oriented toward attainment as a means, cultivate wholesome roots in accord with Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom; also using characteristics as a means, oriented toward attainment as a means, with regard to wholesome roots merit and virtue of all the Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One and the disciple, arising rejoice dedication toward supreme fruit of Enlightenment. And have good men and women raised the aspiration turns toward supreme fruit of Enlightenment, using formlessness as a means, non-attainment as a means cultivating wholesome roots in accord with Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom; also using formlessness as a means, non-attainment as a means, with regard to wholesome roots merit and virtue of all the Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One and the disciple, arise rejoice dedicate towards supreme fruit of Enlightenment, then good men and women those, due to rely on Perfection of Wisdom, with skillful means, then rejoice dedicate towards those surpassing rejoice dedicate towards have already arisen before hundredfold, thousandfold, hundreds of thousands of times, tenfold, hundreds of thousands of times, thousands of thousands of times, hundreds of thousands of times, numberless hundreds of thousands of thousands of times far more than; including all all multiplication regarding quantity, calculation, for example, through to extreme numbers also. Therefore, rejoice dedicate towards as such is supreme, is noble, is marvelous, is sublime, is nothing above, nothing with, nothing more. Therefore, this Great Bodhisattva raised the aspiration turns toward the Great vehicle all should using formlessness as a means, using non-attainment as a means cultivate wholesome roots in accord with Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom and relying on Perfection of Wisdom, using skillful means, with regard to wholesome roots and virtue of all the Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One and the disciples arose and rejoiced in dedication towards the supreme fruit of Enlightenment.
Chapter 32: Praising Prajna (1)
At that time, The Venerable Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, where expound preached thus, is not Perfection of Wisdom The Buddha said:
O Śāriputra, expounding thus means Perfection of Wisdom.
Śāriputra also told the Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom such is capable of shining, ultimate purity. “Venerable World-Honored One, because of such Perfection of Wisdom all should pay homage, heaven, people the assembly of children all earnestly obey. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such, cannot ever be subjected to impurity obstruction, therefore the dharma within in the world cannot cause impurity obtained. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom is thus far from all confusion within the three worlds, is capable of cease except for the darkness of afflictions. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is very noble, because within all the dharma belonging to regarding enlightenment, it is noble. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is capable of causing peace, permanently cease except for all disenchanted, all pressing sorrows, all sudden disasters. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is capable of generating the type of sentient beings, attain causes five Eyes. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is capable of only showing the Middle Way, causes a pleasant person’s path to quickly separate from both sides. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is capable of generating the wisdom of Omniscient Knowledge, permanently except for all the continuous afflictions and long-life habits. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom such as such is the mother of the Great Bodhisattva, all Buddha dharma and Bodhisattva have already arisen from there. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is unborn, immortal, is inherent nature khyou. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom is thus far from birth and death, is not permanent, is not corruptible. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is capable of causing reliance on reliance, generosity the dharma said. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is capable of causing accomplishment ten Powers of the Buddha, cannot be endured to overcome. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom as such is capable of turning the supreme dharma wheel of three turns, twelve aspects, achieving all dharma, not be able to turn back. “Venerable World-Honored One, because Perfection of Wisdom such is capable of indicating the emptiness of the dharma, causing the emptiness of non-nature-self-nature to manifest.
“Venerable World-Honored One, so abide in the Bodhisattva vehicle, or the Pratyekabuddhas, or the Shravakas, the types of sentient beings with regard to Perfection of Wisdom this, therefore abide in as such who The Buddha said:
Hey Śāriputra, the sentient beings those, with regard to Perfection of Wisdom this, an abide in as Buddha, offering homage, thinking only Perfection of Wisdom, therefore as offering homage, thinking only regarding Buddha, Silver-Old-Pham. Because why Because Perfection of Wisdom is not other than Buddha, Bo-old-pham; Buddha, Bac-old-pham not other Perfection of Wisdom; Perfection of Wisdom means Buddha, Bo-old-pham; Buddha, Bac-old-pham means Perfection of Wisdom. Because why Śāriputra, because all Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appeared. O Śāriputra, because all Great Bodhisattva, Pratyekabuddhas, Arahant, Non-returner, Once-returner, Stream-enterer all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all ten paths of virtuous karma, four Dhyanas, four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations, five Supernormal Powers in the world, all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. O Śāriputra, because all the dharma Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all internal emptiness, external emptiness, emptiness of both internal and external, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, emptiness of conditioned phenomena, emptiness of unconditioned phenomena, emptiness of finality, limitless emptiness, emptiness of dispersion, unchanging emptiness, emptiness of original nature, emptiness of individual characteristics, emptiness of shared characteristics, emptiness of all phenomena, emptiness of non-apprehensibility, emptiness of non-nature, emptiness of self-nature, emptiness of non-nature-self-nature all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. O Śāriputra, because all true suchness, dharma-realm, dharma-nature, nature of non-falsity, nature of non-alteration, nature of equality, nature dissociated from birth, dharma-fixity, dharma-abiding, reality-limit, realm of space, inconceivable realm all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. O Śāriputra, because all Noble Truth of Suffering, Noble Truth of Arising, Noble Truth of Cessation, Noble Truth of the Path all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. O Śāriputra, because all four Dhyanas, four Immeasurables, four Formless Concentrations all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all eight Liberations, eight Bases of Mastery, nine Sequential Concentrations, ten Totalities all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all four Foundations of Mindfulness, four Right Efforts, four Bases of Supernatural Power, five Spiritual Faculties, five Powers, seven Factors of Enlightenment, eight-fold Noble Path all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all Liberation Gateway of Emptiness, Liberation Gateway of Signlessness, Liberation Gateway of Wishlessness all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all five Eyes, six Supernormal Powers all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all ten Powers of the Buddha, four Fearlessnesses, four Analytical Knowledges, great Loving-kindness, great Compassion, great Sympathetic Joy, great Equanimity, eighteen unique Buddha qualities all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. O Śāriputra, because all dharma of non-forgetfulness and the nature of ever-present equanimity all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. O Śāriputra, because all Knowledge of All, Knowledge of Path-Aspects, Knowledge of All-Aspects all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear. Hey Śāriputra, because all Dharani gateways, all Samadhi gateways all due to Perfection of Wisdom and obtain appear.
At that time, Indra suddenly thought saying: What is The Venerable Śāriputra today, due to causes and conditions and asked about this
The Venerable Śāriputra recognizes the mind reciting those of Indra immediately saying: Kauśika, because the Great Bodhisattva obtain Perfection of Wisdom and skillful means is able to with regard to all wholesome roots, merit and virtue of all Tathagata, Worthy One, Perfectly Enlightened One in the past, future, present in the ten directions the world, in about those from the moment newly raised the aspiration to when attaining supreme fruit of Enlightenment, transfer dharma miraculously circulates until the time of dharma cessation, or wholesome roots and virtue of all the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattva and the types of other sentient beings, gather, consider, speculate, immediately rejoice and dedicate towards the supreme fruit of Enlightenment; due to causes and conditions those, for should I just raised this question.
Furthermore, Kauśika, the Great Bodhisattva practice and study Perfection of Wisdom surpasses Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom, immeasurable times. For example, hundreds of thousands of people born have already been subjected to blindness, not have sighted people who are good at leading the way, then still not have the ability to come close to the main road, all the more so has been able to go far in order to come in big cities to create happiness; the dharma Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom those are also thus. The person who is born blind is there, if not has Perfection of Wisdom is the person with sight to lead the way then still cannot turn towards the true path Bodhisattva all the more so has be able to obtain into the Knowledge of All.
Furthermore, Kauśika, Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom as such, because due to Perfection of Wisdom this photographer should obtain is called person with eyes; also because due to the Perfection of Wisdom, alms giving all all has the name is called to that shore.
Indra immediately declared The Venerable Śāriputra: As the Venerable said: Giving alms in dharma Paramita, is due to Perfection of Wisdom, so newly obtained is called to that shore. So ha not has been able to for saying: main is due to Perfection of Generosity photography and five dharma that obtain has name is to the other shore; is due to Perfection of Pure Precepts and five dharma that obtain has the name is to the other shore; main is due to Perfection of Patient Endurance and year of dharma that obtain has the name is to the other shore; main is due to Perfection of Diligent Effort photography and five dharma that obtain has the name is to the other shore; main is due to Perfection of Meditative Concentration photography and five dharma that obtain has the name is to shore that. So then based on what and only praising Prajnaparamita alone is surpassing the other five dharma Paramita
Śāriputra replied: That is not so! That’s not true! Because why Kauśika, because is not due to Perfection of Generosity and five dharma that newly obtain is called to the other shore; is not due to Perfection of Pure Precepts and five dharma that newly obtain is called to the other shore; is not due to Perfection of Patient Endurance and five dharma that newly obtain is called to the other shore; is not due to Perfection of Diligent Effort photography and five dharma that newly obtain is called to the other shore; is not due to Perfection of Meditative Concentration photography and five dharma that newly obtain is called to shore that. But only due to Perfection of Wisdom should the dharma that newly obtain is called to that shore. Because why Because the Great Bodhisattva is residing in Perfection of Wisdom newly is capable of causing perfection Generosity, Pure Precepts, Patient Endurance, Diligent Effort, Meditative Concentration, and the Perfection of Wisdom; is not dwelling in that year of dharma and has be able to accomplish that; so should Perfection of Wisdom with regard to five dharma previously is supreme, is noble, is wonderful, is sublime, is nothing above, nothing with, nothing more.
At that time, The Venerable Śāriputra told Buddha:
“Venerable World-Honored One, the Great Bodhisattva should be able to manifest, promote Perfection of Wisdom as such who The Buddha said:
Hey Śāriputra, Great Bodhisattva not using develops form and be able to present and develop Perfection of Wisdom; not using develop feeling, perception, formations, consciousness and be able to develop Perfection of Wisdom.
“Venerable World-Honored One, because why Great Bodhisattva not using develops form and develops Perfection of Wisdom; not using develops feeling, perception, formations, consciousness and develops Perfection of Wisdom. Hey Śāriputra, because form is not created, not stopped, not born, not destroyed, not formed, not destroyed, not acquired, not abandoned, not has inherent nature so Great Bodhisattva not using develops form and develops Perfection of Wisdom; because feeling, perception, formations, consciousness is not created, not stopped, not born, not destroyed, not formed, not destroyed, not obtained, not abandoned, not has inherent nature should Great Bodhisattva not using promote feeling, perception, formations, consciousness and promote Perfection of Wisdom.
Moreover Śāriputra, Great Bodhisattva does not use promoting eye-base and promoting Perfection of Wisdom; not using promotes ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases and promotes Perfection of Wisdom.
“Venerable World-Honored One, because why Great Bodhisattva not using develops eye-base and develops Perfection of Wisdom; not using develops ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases and develops Perfection of Wisdom. Hey Śāriputra, because eye-base is not created, not stopped, not born, not destroyed, not formed, not destroyed, not acquired, not abandoned, not inherent in nature so Great Bodhisattva not using promotes eye-base and promote Perfection of Wisdom; because ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases are uncreated, unstoppable, not born, not destroyed, not formed, not destroyed, not obtained, not abandoned, not having inherent nature so Great Bodhisattva not using develops ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-bases and develops Perfection of Wisdom.
Moreover Śāriputra, Great Bodhisattva does not use promoting form-base and promoting Perfection of Wisdom; not using promote sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases and promote Perfection of Wisdom.
“Venerable World-Honored One, because why Great Bodhisattva not using promote form-base and promote Perfection of Wisdom; not using promote sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases and promote Perfection of Wisdom Hey Śāriputra, because form-base is not created, not stopped, not born, not destroyed, not formed, not destroyed, not obtained, not abandoned, not inherent in nature so Great Bodhisattva not using promote form-base and promote Perfection of Wisdom; because sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases are not created, not stopped, not born, not destroyed, not formed, not destroyed, not obtained, not abandoned, not have inherent nature so Great Bodhisattva not using develop sound, scent, taste, tangible, and dharma-bases and promote Perfection of Wisdom.
Moreover Śāriputra, Great Bodhisattva does not use promoting eye-element and promoting Perfection of Wisdom; not using promote form-element, eye-consciousness-element and eye-contact together with the feelings arising from eye-contact as conditions and promote Perfection of Wisdom.
